Resource FAQ
STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Result. It helps you explain the context, your responsibility, what you personally did, and what happened afterward.
Most STAR answers work well in 60 to 120 seconds. Keep the situation brief and spend most of the time on your actions, decisions, and result.
Use truthful observable evidence such as a decision made, risk prevented, process improved, customer response, lesson learned, or a change adopted by the team. Do not invent a number.
