How to Use Cluegent in Live Interviews and Meetings

A practical guide to launching Cluegent, using listening mode, asking typed prompts, attaching screenshots, and keeping your workflow private.

How to Use Cluegent in Live Interviews and Meetings

Start Cluegent before the call and switch to the private overlay.

Use Start listening only when live audio context is needed.

Submit with Ctrl + Enter or Command + Enter on macOS.

Attach the visible screen when code, errors, or visual questions matter.

Add resume context and tune listening, screen, and typed responses in Customize.

1. Start the desktop assistant

Open Cluegent before the meeting or interview starts, enable private overlay mode, and keep the assistant ready while you work in your call, browser, editor, or document.

2. Choose the input mode

Use listening for live conversation context, typed prompts for direct questions, and screenshot mode when the problem or error is visible on screen.

3. Review what happened later

After a session, Cluegent can keep local meeting history so you can revisit transcript snippets, prompts, screenshots, and answers.

Customize Cluegent for your context

Cluegent is not one fixed answer style. You can tune the assistant around your resume, screen, voice context, and repeated prompts.

Resume context

Add your resume in Settings → Customize so Cluegent can keep your background, projects, skills, and experience in mind while helping with permitted interviews.

Listening responses

Customize how Cluegent answers from live transcript context: concise, detailed, example-first, interviewer-facing, or any style that matches your workflow.

Screen and type responses

Set separate behavior for screenshot-based answers and typed prompt answers, so code screens, visual questions, and direct questions get the right response style.

Quick action buttons

Create quick action buttons for repeated prompts like answer shortly, give an example, explain tradeoffs, brainstorm, or ask the next question.
