Save the posting that led to this interview
For interview preparation in Singapore, begin with the advertisement you actually applied to. Save its duties and your submitted CV before a listing changes. A job title alone can hide different responsibilities. An analyst who owns reporting needs different examples from one who primarily coordinates vendors. This worksheet concerns reading the posting; the separate Skills Framework guide concerns a role reference.
Mark each line as a task, required capability or unresolved detail. Keep your interpretation beside the original wording. Do not convert a desirable qualification into a mandatory rule or assume a location label guarantees remote work. Ask the recruiter about ambiguous requirements rather than letting a generated answer decide them.
Build a question from a duty, not a keyword
In our fictional posting, an operations analyst maintains a weekly exception report and follows up with owners. A useful practice question is: how would you distinguish a missing update from a genuine late delivery? Evidence might include a class dataset, a reporting task or a real reconciliation process. Label the setting honestly.
Prepare a follow-up about responsibility: who corrected the underlying record, and what did you personally check? The brief should expose gaps rather than hide them. A course exercise does not prove you operated a commercial reporting service. Include a question about how the team defines an exception.
Use the brief to choose your next practice task
Rehearse the duty for which your evidence is weakest. Explain the current facts first, then ask for feedback on relevance. If AI suggests an impressive result you did not supply, remove it. Keep a short record of unanswered follow-ups so the next session addresses a specific gap.
Singapore job portals and employer pages are starting points for vacancies, not guarantees that a particular interview will use this worksheet. Check the employer's invitation for the actual format. For claims about eligibility or employment conditions, consult the appropriate official information instead of deriving them from a keyword in the ad.
Job-ad evidence brief
| Prepare | Your evidence or decision |
|---|---|
| Duty | Exact wording plus your interpretation |
| Example | Your contribution and the setting |
| Uncertainty | A question for the recruiter |
| Follow-up | A decision you need to defend |
Run this original rehearsal
Use this job advertisement and my evidence notes. Ask one question about the weekly exception report. Wait for my answer, then challenge which facts I verified. Identify any claim not supported by my notes.
Keep the original advertisement, first answer and corrected answer together. Improvement means you address a real duty and explain your contribution clearly. A more fluent paragraph that adds unsupported ownership is a poorer answer. Repeat the explanation without the brief before moving on.
Rehearse the weak point with Cluegent
For optional preparation, give Cluegent a typed question and redacted evidence notes. Ask it to challenge an assumption or identify unsupported claims, then answer without viewing suggestions. Try Cluegent on Windows or macOS and check its current limited trial and paid terms. This exercise does not claim an autonomous spoken interviewer or a hiring prediction.
The examples are original fictional practice material, not leaked employer questions. Follow the actual employer's assessment rules and obtain required consent before capturing another person's speech. If assistance is prohibited, use your preparation unaided. This article offers practice guidance, not legal, immigration or financial advice.

Frequently asked questions
Should I practise every line in the job ad?
Prioritize the main duties and the requirements you cannot yet support clearly. Keep unresolved details as recruiter questions.
Is this the Singapore Skills Framework worksheet?
No. This brief starts with your actual employer posting, while the existing framework guide maps a published role reference.
