Why coding interviews need screen context

Many coding questions are visual: problem statements, failing tests, stack traces, partial code, or editor output. Screenshot-aware assistance can capture that context faster than manually typing it into a chatbot.

How Cluegent helps you stay conversational

Use Cluegent to ask for a plan, explain a tradeoff, find a likely bug, or convert an idea into a short spoken explanation. The goal is to keep communication moving while you solve.

Best prompts to use

Try prompts like: explain the approach, find edge cases, simplify this answer, give time complexity, explain the bug, or give a concise interviewer-facing explanation.

Responsible use

Only use AI assistance if the interview allows it. Practice fundamentals first and use Cluegent to structure your own thinking.

Customize Cluegent for your context

Cluegent is not one fixed answer style. You can tune the assistant around your resume, screen, voice context, and repeated prompts.

Resume context

Add your resume in Settings → Customize so Cluegent can keep your background, projects, skills, and experience in mind while helping with permitted interviews.

Listening responses

Customize how Cluegent answers from live transcript context: concise, detailed, example-first, interviewer-facing, or any style that matches your workflow.

Screen and type responses

Set separate behavior for screenshot-based answers and typed prompt answers, so code screens, visual questions, and direct questions get the right response style.

Quick action buttons

Create quick action buttons for repeated prompts like answer shortly, give an example, explain tradeoffs, brainstorm, or ask the next question.
